Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to work on a project in Papendrecht (Rotterdam area), the Netherlands.

Key Accountabilities/Tasks:

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on (production) installations and peripheral equipment, especially during production stops;
• Determining the cause of malfunctions and naming the solution options, including their impact (urgency, time required, durability of solutions, etc.), possibly also in collaboration with fellow Mechanical/Electrical mechanics;
• Recording relevant information about the performance of maintenance, including hours and consumption of materials, as well as observations about the actual technical condition of installations in systems intended for this purpose;
• Compliance with and application of rules and regulations regarding safe working, health and the environment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to read drawings or read/understand instructions
• Knowledge of materials
• Creativity and solution-oriented
• Good English language
• Recommendations and certificates
• Ideally, own car to be brought and used in the Netherlands
