Clinical Governance Facilitator | Governance | Band 5 dependant on experience | Birmingham | Full Time

Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a clinical governance facilitator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, “Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers.”

Duties and responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Governance Manager, you will take an active role in providing guidance and support on clinical governance and patient safety across the Hospital. This will include supporting all clinical governance and patient safety activities within the Hospital, providing assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical standards. You will challenge existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions are incorporated into Hospital Plans and are implemented.

Who we're looking for:

• Experience and an understanding of working within a clinical governance team or undertaking those tasks.
• Computer literate, experience in using excel and be able to use pivot tables, manage heavy data and extracting information for reporting
• Facilitation skills, being able to work with heads of department and frontline staff and have excellent communication skills
