Our prestigious client in the North West has some exciting opportunities for Surgical Ward Nurses to join our experienced and dynamic team. Working with a wide variety of specialisms you will be able to develop you clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.

Job description

Our clients hospital is a brand new, £65m state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering patients a wide range of integrated surgical, medical and diagnostic services. The rapidly expanding team in Manchester consists of over 500 colleagues, who thrive in the welcoming atmosphere that is friendly, supportive and progressive.

Our Nurses and clinicians are given time support their patients as the majority of procedures are scheduled, so numbers and staffing levels are planned in advance to give a much lower patient to Nurse ratio. We cover a wide variety of cases including specialist Cosmetic and Paediatric services alongside Orthopaedics and many others. Our patients are involved in all decisions made and you can really help make an impact on their ongoing care.


Package

Salary: £26,500 per year

Full time permanent role

37.5 hours pw


Duties and Responsibilities

You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will develop your own knowledge and skills and that of others whilst promoting best practice in health and safety and security.

Requirements

You will be a Registered Nurse used to working with minimum supervision and experience of working in an Acute environment. A surgical background is desirable but we are happy to consider Nurses with an interest in developing their experience in this field.
