Introduction

INTRO

Excellent opportunity to join Solent NHS as a Community Healthcare Support Worker. This is a band 3 position, working 37.5 hours per week. Working within the Children Community Nursing Team (East) based in Portsmouth.

The Community Health Care Support Worker will carry out assigned tasks, working to the care plan for children/young people. This will involve providing high standards of health care, supporting parents/carers to provide health care to enable children/young people to remain at home.

Requirements:

  • NVQ 2 in Health
  • NVQ 3/NNEB
  • Must have a UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working with children and their families
  • Previous experience caring for sick/disabled children is desireable but not essential
