Our Client a leading Private Hospital Group is looking for a Pharmacist to join their warm and supportive team on a full time basis
Duties and responsibilities:
You will be expected to provide a first class clinical pharmacy service working closely with our consultants and wider CCU team. As this is a new department with more growth planned you will also play an active role in developing the service, so it’s a great opportunity to really take ownership in key area for the hospital.
Who we're looking for:
- To provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines.
- To advise the hospital and its departments on the safe management of medicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards
- To promote a multidisciplinary, patient-focused approach to the delivery of an efficient, high-quality healthcare service
- To plan, deliver and evaluate pharmaceutical care to meet patient’s health and well-being.
- To provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements.
Who we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in pharmacy, or equivalent at time of qualification.
- Registered pharmacist
- Minimum 2 years pharmacy experience Hospital
- An interest in CCU pharmacy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care
- Good team player
- Must have the right to work in the UK
