HCA | Theatre | Care | Portsmouth | 37.5 hours per week | £19,000 - £21,000 DOE  

Our Clients Hospital are looking for an experienced HCA to join their fantastic Theatre team. You will be working on a rota covering Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm and on average one Saturday per month 

Their Hospital holds a long standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Their facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals, providing a dynamic and stimulating environment for highly motivated nurses.

Duties and responsibilities:

Working as a HCA in Theatres you will be responsible for supporting the team during procedures. This will include ensuring the correct instruments are prepared, opening sterile packs and some patient transport. Within this role there is a key focus on infection control as you assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and Theatres as a whole whilst providing first rate care to our patients.

Who we're looking for:

  • You will need to have experience working as a HCA within a hospital environment
  • A NVQ level two or three in Health and Social care
  • Flexibility to work a mix of shifts on a varying rota
  • A caring demeanour who excels in great customer service
