Our Clent based is recruiting for a Senior Advanced Planner for their Shipbuilding Company based in Canada.
Job description

 SENIOR ADVANCED PLANNER 

Package:

Salary:          Competitive

Contract:       Permanent

Hours:           Fulltime

Location:       Canada


As the Senior Advanced Planner, you are responsible for coordinating ISI Transition to Build resources in the Zonal Review Process with the Design Agent; this will require international travel. This role will Liaise with the Design Agent to ensure the CSC Foran Model content, will support ISI Manufacturing processes. As the Senior Advanced Planner, you will explore the Global Combat Ship existing design, and identify challenges in manufacturing and make recommendation for improvement and added value for Canada.


Qualifications:

  • Academically qualified in Engineering or Technology with a recognized Technology Diploma or equivalent.
  • 20 Years or more experience in shipbuilding, with considerable time in Engineering and Production roles.
  • Previous experience representing shipyard as Liaison with Design Agents.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong skills in organizing and managing large number of tasks with varying priorities.
  • Good technical and business aptitude, fast learner, and effective problem solver.

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for Transition to Build, through the Zonal Review process on site overseas.
  • Ensure ISI Design rules are implemented by the Design Agent
  • Mentor lesser experienced Shipbuilding Planners
  • Report progress to the Manager.
