Bupa Health Screening GP | Edinburgh | Permanent contract | Full and Part time available | Competitive salary and benefits package

Are you a GP looking for a new career challenge? |Our Client's Hospital in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced GP to join their Health Screening service. This role offers flexible hours, a competitive salary as well as an excellent selection of benefits.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To deliver primary care consultations and health assessments to customers of Bupa Health Clinics in accordance with policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-quality service which delivers high customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake clinical work in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice generally accepted within the UK, and within ethical guidelines as suggested by the GMC and defined in Bupa Health Clinics Policies
  • Keep up to date with clinical knowledge and complete CPD requirement in line with requirements of the annual GMC appraisal
  • Attend and participate in clinical meetings/training sessions as required.
  • Involvement in Governance and Compliance across the organisation, including engaging in incident reporting and investigation, supporting in management of complaints as per company policy and contributing to quality improvement activities.

Who we're looking for:

  • Be GMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience working as a Doctor, including 2 years post qualification as a GP in the NHS.
  • MRCGP / Medical Defence Organisation Member / Current certificates in BLS and Safeguarding Level 3
  • Compassionate and able to provide excellent patient care.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a private healthcare setting is desirable, but not essential
