Verpleegkundige taken

• Bepalen van de toestand van de bewoner (klinisch, psychisch, …) en de verzamelde informatie in het patiëntendossier noteren
• Observeren, identificeren en vaststellen van de gezondheidstoestand van de bewoners en anticiperen op eventuele veranderingen
• Toezicht houden en parameters evalueren: temperatuur, bloeddruk, hartslag, suikerniveau, …
• Voorbereiden medicatie volgens voorschrift en de bedeling ervan
• Instaan voor de verpleegkundige verzorging van de bewoners: medicatie, inspuitingen, bloedafnames, wondzorg, …
• Palliatieve zorg, stervensbegeleiding en begeleiding bij de verwerking van het rouwproces verlenen
• Administratieve opvolging van het patiëntendossier

Informeren en psychosociaal ondersteunen van bewoners en hun familie

• Onthaal van nieuwe bewoners
• Begeleiden, ondersteunen en informeren van bewoners en hun familieleden
• Stimuleren van de bewoners in het vinden van een zinvolle dagbesteding
• Begeleiden van de activiteiten binnen de leefgroepen

Uitvoeren van verzorgende taken

• Helpen van de bewoners bij de algemene dagelijkse lichaamsverzorging en hygiëne
• Bewaken van het algemeen comfort van de bewoners
• Helpen van de bewoners bij het eten en drinken
• Aanwijzingen en instructies geven aan zorgkundigen

Bijdragen tot de continuïteit en kwaliteit van de zorg

• Opstellen van een zorgplan
• Doorgeven van de nodige informatie over de bewoners tijdens een teamoverleg
• Informeren van de huisarts
• Mogelijkheid om mee te werken aan zorgoverleg: werkgroep dementie, palliatief supportteam, werkgroep incontinentiebeleid, werkgroep valpreventie, werkgroep voeding

Vereiste studies

• Hoger beroepsonderwijs (HBO) Geriatrische verpleegkunde
• Professionele Bachelor Verpleegkunde: Geriatrische verpleegkunde of Ziekenhuisverpleegkunde
• Talenkennis: B1/2 Nederlands en/of Frans – afhankelijk van ligging WZC

• Helping the residents with general daily body care and hygiene
• Monitoring the general comfort of the residents
• Assisting the residents with food and drinks

• Drawing up a care plan
• Passing on the necessary information about the residents during a team meeting
• Informing the general practitioner
• Possibility to participate in care consultations: dementia working group, palliative support team, incontinence policy working group, fall prevention working group, nutrition working group

Required studies

• Higher vocational education (HBO) Geriatric nursing
• Professional Bachelor nursing: Geriatric Nursing or Hospital Nursing
• Language skills: B1/2 Dutch and/or French – depending on the location of the WZC

Tâches infirmières

• Déterminer l’état du résident (clinique, psychologique, ...) et enregistrer les informations recueillies dans le dossier patient
• Observer, identifier et déterminer l’état de santé des résidents et anticiper tout changement
• Surveillance et évaluation des paramètres : température, pression artérielle, fréquence cardiaque, taux de sucre, ...
• Préparer les médicaments selon l’ordonnance et ladispense
• Responsable des soins infirmiers des résidents: médicaments, injections, échantillons de sang, soins des plaies, ...
• Fournir des soins palliatifs, de l’aide à mourir et de l’aide au traitement du processus de deuil
• Tenir à jour les dossiers des patientsen mettant à jour l’information

Informer et soutenir psychosocialement les résidents et leurs familles

• Accueillir les nouveaux résidents
• Guider, soutenir et informer les résidents et les membres de leur famille
• Stimuler les résidents à trouver une activité diurne significative
• Superviser les activités au sein des groupes vivants

Effectuer des tâches de soins

• Aider les résidents avec les soins corporels quotidiens généraux et l’hygiène
• Surveiller le confort général des résidents
• Aiderles résidents avec de la nourriture et des boissons
• Donner des directives et des instructions aux professionnels de la santé

Contribuer à la continuité et à la qualité des soins

• Élaboration d’un plan de soins
• Transmettre les informations nécessaires sur les résidents lors d’une réunion d’équipe
• Informer le médecin généraliste
• Possibilité de participer à des consultations de soins : groupe de travail sur la démence, équipe de soutien palliatif, groupe de travail sur les politiques d’incontinence, groupe de travail sur la prévention des chutes, groupe de travail sur la nutrition

 Études requises

• Enseignement professionnel supérieur (HBO) Soins infirmiers gériatriques
• Baccalauréat professionnel en sciences infirmières : soins infirmiers gériatriques ou soins infirmiers hospitaliers
• Compétences linguistiques: B1/2 néerlandais et / ou Français - selon l’emplacement du WZC
